On Saturday, April 12th, IU South Bend hosted Green Michiana: A Sustainability Fair for Home, Garden and Road.  GreenTV, a project of the St Joe Valley Greens/Green Party, interviewed several attendees and participants and produced a You-tube video to chronicle the event.

Gary Gilot, South Bend’s Public Works Director; Judith Rubleske, dietician; Steve Francis, Sierra Club; Elizabeth Bennion, League of Women Voters; Mike Keen, IUSB’s Center for a Sustainable Future; Robin Beck, IUSB’s Environmental Justice League and siblings Matt and Jordan Lewis, whose parents had a table at the event, answer questions on what sustainability means to them, what they think is the greatest obstacle to sustainability and what they hope to teach others about sustainability.

We think you will enjoy watching this video as much as we enjoyed meeting and speaking with these amazing people who have taken the first steps towards a sustainable future.
