Helping South Bend become a Human Rights city will be the topic for this month’s Progressive Town Hall meeting at the Fiddler’s Hearth in South Bend.  The meeting begins at 4 p.m. on Sunday February 17th.   

 Jackie Smith, M.A., PhD, will be the guest speaker.  Dr. Smith, an Associate Professor of Sociology and Peace Studies, is on the faculty of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies and has written several books on transnational social change.

 Progressive Town Hall is an open forum for area citizens to lend their voices and ideas to issues facing our community, neighborhoods, country and planet.

  Fiddler’s Hearth is located at 127 North Main Street in downtown South Bend.
