Over 30 businesses and organizations will be at IUSB for Green Michiana: A Sustainability Fair for Home, Garden and Road. These groups will provide information about local resources, increasing energy efficiency in your home and with your transportation, reducing waste and recycling more and green gardening and decorating tips.
A recycling drive will also be part of the fair; this is a follow-up to IUSB’s highly successful Bagfest, at which nearly 70,000 plastic bags were collected last year.
Musical groups from the area will be featured during the day:

Cool. I plan on having a little slide show on the history of the river and hydro power on the St Joe. Be sure to stop by the Sierra Club’s table that day.

The event sounds very interesting. Unfortunately I’ll be out of town that day. Is there somewhere I can get materials on what was presented? Maybe a website to look at?

I will be attending the event and will be posting photos and a follow-up on it. I will find out if there will be other ways for folks to get information from the event.
